Boogie/Funk set with David Jordan on The Vinyl Factory’s VF Live

Our latest contribution to The Vinyl Factory finds fellow vinyl aficionado David Jordan digging up a delectable mix of boogie, funk and soul records.

David Jordan is a retired flight engineer living in Honolulu. His affinity for boogie, funk, and soul has found him spinning records at parties like Sweater Funk, Toka Disco Social Club, Motown on Monday, Lazer Funk, Soulgasm Hawaii, and Soul Time in Hawaii.

“I try to only buy records I really love, once I do that I study the liner notes and research the musicians, back up singers, producers, song writers and event the equipment they use, and keep an eye out for them when I buy and listen to music,” says Jordan.
