Saft is a label that deals in totally fad-free house music, often of a deeper persuasion. Andy Ash is a low-key but high-class UK producer who shows his skills here starting with the zoned-out but subtly pumping 'You:Me' (feat Faber) which is doused in fuzzy pads. A Mark E remix gets more heavy but no less cavernous and heady, then 'Momentary Days' slips into a skippy jazzed-up groove for cosy backroom parties. 'Reach' is a masterclass in scuffed-up drums and grooves that encourage you to gaze off into the distance and rue some long-lost love.
