    Original 1967 promo white label pressing of one of the world's most coveted vinyl records! 

    Vinyl looks UNPLAYED. (We have not play tested this copy due to its rarity and collectibility.) We sourced this copy from a local Hawaii retail store that closed its doors many years ago but kept its inventory in storage until recently.

    This is a white label promo copy, stamped “NOT FOR SALE” on the labels. After researching Discogs, we're 99% certain this is the 1967 “Promo, Mono, West Coast Pressing” (see link below) EXCEPT our copy does NOT have the “DJ SAMPLES” sticker on the front jacket. This is the Discogs listing of pressing we believe we have, but without the sticker on jacket front: https://www.discogs.com/release/3538574-The-Velvet-Underground-Nico-The-Velvet-Underground-Nico

    V/5008 A (MG 558)
    V/5008 B (MG 559)

    Condition:

    • Vinyl is Near Mint, appears UNPLAYED
    • Jacket is VG but mostly due to shelf wear damage.
    • Front jacket was stuck to another record when we found it. The damage inevitably occurred when being pulled it apart.
    • Gatefold inside and back jacket are VG+, with some light ring wear on back.
    • Banana is intact with minor wear. Banana is located slightly higher than usual and top part slightly hangs off the jacket edge, so it is somewhat bent. See photos.
    • original Verve paper sleeve.
